UF safety and team captain Tony Joiner was arrested and charged with burglary early Tuesday morning, according to a Gainesville Police report.
Joiner was seen by witnesses entering a fenced compound with intent to taking his girlfriend's car, which was being held with a ,76 towing bill, out of the compound without paying for the bill, according to the report.
Joiner is fifth on UF with 20 tackles. The Gators play at No. 1 LSU this Saturday.
"That really happened?" cornerback Joe Haden said. "That's really not his character. He's been nothing but positive since after the game."
