UF coach Becky Burleigh looks down the field during Florida's season-opening win against Miami on Aug. 24, 2014.

UF has released its 2015 soccer schedule.

The Gators open the season at home on Aug. 15 against Florida Gulf Coast and will play eight non-conference games.

All but one of the non-conference matchups will be played in the state of Florida and the team will only travel out of state seven times including a potential Southeastern Conference tournament appearance.

The Gators will take on the defending champion Florida State Seminoles on Aug. 30.

In the last five meetings, the Gators trail FSU 3-2 in the series and most recently won 2-1 in Tallahassee.

The six other non-conference opponents the Gators will face in 2015 are UCF, Ohio State, Miami, Oklahoma State, Jacksonville and FIU.

Last season, the Gators went an undefeated 11-0 in the state of Florida and outscored their opponents 35-9.

The team went 5-2 in non-conference games in 2014.

The Gators ended the 2014 campaign after a loss to Stanford in the NCAA Quarterfinals that was decided by penalty kicks.

In 2014, the Gators finished 17-4-2, losing all four games on the road.

Coach Becky Burleigh is entering her 21st season as head coach of the Gators, who added 15 players to the roster for the 2015 season.
