We inform. You decide.

With the Student Government elections happening today and Wednesday, you, the students, can have a say in what happens at UF.

Sure, you may be apathetic. Maybe it's your senior year. Maybe you aren't in any organizations. Maybe you don't even go to class, and you come to campus for the sole purpose of buying delicious waffle fries from Chick-fil-A.

You're still a student at UF. You still pay fees, which SG decides how to distribute. You pay for bus service. You pay for services at Southwest Recreation Center. You pay for on-campus housing benefits. If you've ever gone to a club meeting just to snag some free pizza, your fees probably paid for that.

We aren't saying the Student Senate isn't comprised of a bunch of résumé-builders. We aren't saying SG doesn't have its flaws.

But if you don't vote, you can't complain about how your money is spent.

If you don't vote, you can't expect anything to change.
