And the top moments of the '07 season are…

This was one of the most unpredictable years in college football history, and the Gators played no small part in giving the season that distinction. With more craziness sure to come in the bowls, I've compiled the Gators' most memorable "Did that really just happen?" moments of this year. Here are the top seven of '07.

7. CALL ME: Tim Tebow may be good at a lot of things, but trash talk? Not so much.

He playfully taunted LSU's student section by pretending to dial a phone after his first touchdown pass. The gesture made sense when Tebow later revealed he had received hundreds of threatening calls and messages to his cell phone from Tigers fans in the week leading up to the game.

6. SEEING DOUBLE: In early November, UF was desperate for someone to fill in on the depleted defensive line, so the logical choice was obviously, uh, the backup center? True freshman Mike Pouncey swapped sides, and five days later he started at nose tackle against Vanderbilt despite having almost no experience at the position. I'm just looking forward to the day when Mike takes on twin brother and right guard Maurkice in UF's Circle of Life drill.

5. CALDWELL'S CHUCK: Andre Caldwell has accomplished a lot during his time at UF. He battled through a devastating injury, won a national championship and broke a 36-year-old record to become the school's all-time receptions leader. But he secured his legacy in his last game in The Swamp when he caught a 31-yard touchdown pass and promptly threw the ball into the stands.

4. BLEAUX IT: It seems that one WTF moment for Week 6 wasn't enough for the Gators. Tony Joiner was arrested in the days prior to the LSU game for allegedly breaking into a tow lot, but the incident didn't seem to deter UF from its goal of knocking off top-ranked LSU. Up 24-14 with 2:50 left in the third quarter, the Gators' suddenly looked like legitimate title contenders. They were moving down field when Kestahn Moore fumbled (shocker) at the 50-yard line. The frustration didn't stop there. UF allowed LSU five fourth-down conversions overall and lost to the Tigers, 28-24.

3. AUBURN BUMMER: All the toilet paper in the state of Alabama couldn't have dried the Gators' tears after this heartbreaker. Urban Meyer lost his first home game on a last-minute field goal, which snapped UF's 18-game winning streak in The Swamp. Even crazier, Wes Byrum had to make the 43-yarder twice after Meyer tried to ice him with a last-second timeout.

2. SMOOCH ON THE SIDELINE: The Gators trounced Tennessee in their conference opener 59-20, but that became secondary news after the television camera caught Joiner and his roommate, Tebow, in a post-touchdown moment of intimacy. The lightening-quick peck on the cheek became an instant YouTube classic, and although the exchange happened nearly two months ago, comments are still being posted. Sounds like some people need to get off their computers, go out and get some action of their own.

1. BULLDOG BASH: The world's largest outdoor cocktail party didn't compare to the fiesta the Bulldogs threw in the end zone after Knowshon Moreno scored the team's first touchdown. After the entire Georgia squad spilled out onto the field in mid-game celebration, the refs took a good 10 seconds to process the scene before they threw flags. The Gators would be upstaged throughout, falling 42-30.
