While there pregame atmosphere today is not nearly like any SEC game, there has been a few FAU supporters sprinkled here and there. The most entertaining so far has been a car driving by with "Go Owls" and "Hoot Hoot" on it. While it's very debatable if they'll still be prideful after the game, it's still about the best atmosphere on campus.
Here are some other things to keep an eye on in today's matchup:
-If the game - as expected - gets out of hand, does Urban Meyer take Heisman contender Tim Tebow out of the game quickly? My bet is that this game is over by the half, and if Tebow's still out there in the third, Meyer's giving his sophomore sensation the opportunity to pad his stats for the trophy.
- UF's plethora of young defensive linemen should get their chance to strut their stuff today, and if they don't, it's not a good sign. They should be able to tee off on less athletic offensive linemen. Keep your eye out for the Lawrence Marsh, Justin Trattou, Duke Lemmens and Torrey Davis types.
-Meyer's mentioned Justin Williams as a player who has stepped up and could see time at wideout. This is his chance. Also, what are Deonte Thompson's chances of playing? It looks more like Thompson's going to redshirt.
