"MsoNormal">Why South

Carolina Might Win:

"MsoNormal">The

Gamecocks will feature Lakesha Tolliver who did not play in the

team's first meeting due to "exertional headaches." South

Carolina's starting lineup now features three players taller than

six feet and that could provide some difficult matchups for UF.

Gators coach Amanda Butler said Tollier is the Gamecocks' most

physical post player and rebounding will be a key factor to the

outcome of the game.

"MsoNormal">Why UF

Might Win:

"MsoNormal">Because

this is another must-win game as the Gators fight to remain on the

NCAA Tournament. UF will look to ride the advantage of playing in

the O' Dome as it looks for its third straight home victory. The

Gators will need to dominate the boards - they are 13-4 when they

outrebound their opponents. While rebounds can lead to points, this

stat really is an indication of aggression and toughness -two

things UF usually relies on to win games.

"MsoNormal">Final

Word:

"font-size: 12pt; font-family:">Expect lone senior Depree Bowden to

play inspired in possibly her last game in the O'Connell Center.

She will be honored with her parents before the game. … The Gators

have been great in close games so far this season - they are 8-2 in

games decided by 6 points or less. … Defenses have really been

clamping down on UF forward Marshae Dotson lately, but she says it

hasn't bothered her. She doesn't mind being a decoy if her

teammates are knocking down open shots … While this team is good in

close games, it isn't particularly good at coming back after huge

deficits. The Gators haven't won a game when they've trailed by

more than 11 points - and that was against Prairie View, not

exactly an SEC-caliber team. … With an RPI of 37, UF continues to

fight for a bid to the NCAA Tournament. This isn't a game the

Gators can afford to lose. With the extra days of practice due to

the midweek bye, expect a fresh team highly motivated by Butler and

willing to work hard for Bowden, its leader.
