Tonight, Gainesville residents will root on the Gators alongside students during the BCS National Championship Game.
If the Gators win, University Avenue will overflow with excited fans.
Residents described the celebrations following the Gators' 2007 championship victory in single words.

"They come through hollering and we just holler with them," said Lisa Jackson, 43, of Northwest Fifth Avenue.
If the Gators win this year, Jackson said she plans to stay up to celebrate with passing fans.
Bill Hardy, 45, a College Park resident, happily excused the wild excitement of fellow fans two years ago.
"It's just a bunch of kids having fun," Hardy said. "There are really no problems here."
