Rock

Modest Mouse "No One's First and You're Next" -

They've put out three records since "Float On" took over the charts in 2004, and it's a mystery why more people don't talk about Modest Mouse. Their latest release picks up right where they left off with "We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank," bringing an addicting mixture of country and folk influenced sounds to the table.

Rap

Fabolous "Loso's Way" -

Fabolous pulls all the stops with his fifth studio release. Featuring some of rap's biggest names (Weezy, Jay-Z, The-Dream, Ne-Yo, Keri Hilson, to name a few), "Loso's Way" is like hip-hop's very own dream team. Album highlights include lyrically charged tracks "Salute" and "The Way."

Country

Gloriana "Gloriana" -

Gloriana's debut infuses the elements of twangy-traditional country with a hefty dose of booming pop hooks and echoing harmonies. "Gloriana" will make Carrie Underwood and Sugarland fans rejoice while Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings' followers are cringe from how far from traditional country this release actually is.

Pop

Ashley Tisdale "Guilty Pleasure" -

Ashley Tisdale is all grown up and ready to be everyone's favorite new bad girl. Her new album opens with a chorus that wails "Set me free. It's time to get dirt. It's another side of me, I'm acting out." However, it's a far cry from original. Upon first listen, Tisdale's latest can easily be mistaken as a release from former teen pop-sensation Ashlee Nicole Wentz, aka. Ashlee Simpson.
