A fight over $5 ended with the arrest of a Gainesville woman after she bit her partner in front of their children Sunday.
Jamie Ruffner, 27, grabbed a frying pan and threw it, just missing the children. Ruffner continued to throw objects from around the room until the man grabbed her, the report said.
Ruffner then bit him in his arm, tearing the flesh with her teeth. She caused damage that will leave a permanent scar, according to the report. Ruffner is charged with one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of battery resulting in bodily harm.
