UF’s rank among public universities dropped to No. 8 per the U.S. News & World Report 2027 list released Tuesday. The rank marks UF’s is the 10th consecutive year as a top 10 national public university.

Originating in ancient India, yoga has historically been a way for participants to connect the mind and body through breathwork and movement. But a Saturday event offered a furry twist. Starting this summer, the Humane Society of North Central Florida has hosted 10 kitten yoga sessions — an event designed to help kittens find their “fur-ever” homes and introduce people to the world of adoption.
Santa Fe College students are receiving reduced loans if enrolled in 11 or fewer credit hours after an Aug. 7 notice changed the disbursement process at the college.
