Artist Chris Cruz is giving Gators fans a way to represent the Orange and Blue and support the arts by bidding on his one-of-a-kind “Gatorized” piano.
The Steinway Model “M” piano will be on display in the main lobby of the UF Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Institute until tonight. An online auction benefiting the UF School of Music will go until Sept. 30 at 11 p.m., and the minimum starting bid is $21,000.
In addition to the piano, the highest bidder will receive software programmed to play “Go Gators,” “We are the Boys from Old Florida” and “Alma Mater.”
