Starting this fall, a new bus route, 23, will be running from the Oaks Mall to Santa Fe College's northwest campus.
RTS spokesman Chip Skinner said RTS has been trying to get additional routes to Santa Fe for at least five years, and he's happy that it was finally able to expand the service to SFC.
"A lot of Santa Fe students are not from Gainesville," Santa Fe College student Khalil Quinan said. "We don't have the dorms like UF students, so most of us live in these all-inclusive apartments."
