Accent is bringing speakers from “The Onion” to the Reitz Grand Ballroom tonight at 8 p.m.

“The Onion” is an American news satire organization that has a website and print version.

Editor Joe Randazzo and staff writer Seth Reiss will be speaking about “A Hundred Years of Headlines According to ‘The Onion’,” Accent Chairman Zachary Goldstein said.

Goldstein said he is expecting a great turnout to Accent’s first event of the school year.

“I chose ‘The Onion’ because I felt like a lot of students could associate with them,” he said. “I learned about them in school, and I know a lot of my friends did as well. I thought it would be very cool to see them come together at the University of Florida.”

The show is free and open to the public. Doors open at 7 p.m.

According to the Student Government Finance Office, “The Onion” will be paid $15,000.
