It’s finally here. Everyone’s been talking about it. Has Big been faithful to Carrie? Did Samantha get back with Smith? More importantly, is Carrie still wearing Louboutins?

It’s been two years since our favorite foursome stepped onto the big screen. This summer, we finally got to find out “what happens after you say ‘I do.’”

Most importantly, we got to see what our favorite leading lady, Carrie, is wearing in 2010.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that “Sex and the City 2” premiered Memorial Day weekend. While loads of women across the world flocked to see what Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda have been up to over the past two years, other fashionistas like myself were concentrating on something a bit more important: the outfits.

Since the film relocated the New Yorkers to Abu Dhabi, their fashions’ included colorful caftans, vibrant harem pants and tons of other Middle Eastern inspired styles.

However, I believe the true star of the movie was Carrie’s headwear. I, for one, never thought I’d see the day when turbans became a fashion statement, but I guess anything’s possible in the fashion world when you’re Carrie Bradshaw.

Carrie’s turbans work because the accessory adds a splash of color to an otherwise simple outfit. Instead of accessorizing with tons of jewelry or belts, the turban acts as the star of the outfit. Consider it the new statement necklace for your head.

If you think the turban is a little too fashion forward for you, try the turband. A favorite of Ashley Olsen, the turband is a mix between the turban and a headband.

So, ladies of Gainesville, what do you think? Would you rock the turban? What about the turband?
