Everyone is being hit hard in these tough economic times — fashion designers included.
So it’s no wonder that many of them have collaborated with mass retailers such as Target, Forever 21 and even Wal-Mart (such as Miley Cyrus and Max Azria) to not only make their designs more affordable, but to make sure they could keep their businesses afloat.
Not to be outdone, fashion designer Rachel Pally has joined forces with Target to offer an exclusive dress for a limited time at Target stores and online for just shy of $80.
I know that you’re thinking $80 is a lot of money to spend on one dress — and at Target nonetheless. But this is no ordinary dress.
Pally has created a versatile plum floral, above the knee, sleeveless dress that can be worn not one, not two, not even three different ways. This jersey knit frock can be worn six different ways: halter, skirt, bandeau, wide halter, strapless and “flirty."
Not only is the dress super cute, but it can be taken from day to night and season to season. Wear it as a wide halter during a warm day with a jean jacket and sandals and then transform it to a night look by wearing it as a bandeau with a leather jacket and black heels. For the winter time, try pairing it with some black tights, lace-up booties and again, a black leather jacket.
Never has $80 been so efficient (and chic)!
