With Florida swimming and diving coach Gregg Troy preparing to coach the 2012 Olympic team, assistant head coaches Martyn Wilby and Anthony Nesty have been named associate head coaches of the UF men’s and women’s teams.

Both have been with the Gators since 1998 and will expand their roles in the administrative and developmental facets of coaching.

“We are extremely fortunate to have the long-term commitment of Martyn and Anthony,” Troy said. “Their commitment to remain in Gainesville for an extended period of time is key to the success of the program.”

Other structural changes were made as well. Assistant coach Steve Jungbluth was named recruiting coordinator, and Erva Gilliam will be director of swimming operations.

“The restructuring of our program will provide us with an opportunity on deck to really focus in on the first-hand development of premier performances by our swimmers,” Troy said.

Troy said he has confidence the athletic department will oversee a successful program in his absence.

“We are enormously grateful to have an administration, that from top to bottom, understands and values championship-winning performances and coaches that are committed to those goals,” he said.
