Obsessed with majoring in anthropology? There's a meme for that.
By definition, a meme is an idea or element of social behavior passed on through generations in a culture.
In the real world, a meme is something visual on the Internet that spells out an ironic truth and, consequentially, persuades you to share it on Facebook because nothing before has ever described your life so accurately.
Memes are the new visual catchphrases: Internet trolls take a picture and add some smart-ass text in standard Impact font to point out the irony or sarcasm of the posted picture.
The science of creating these memes has been introduced into the world of majors. Each field of study has adopted an animal and a different set of colors for its individual pie-style, two-toned background.
Consider these memes like inside jokes between two gushing art students or that group of over-stressed math majors. It's eerie to find how people in your same major experience the same baloney you do from professors, people and technology.
Find your major meme here:
Law School Lady Bug (This one only has a few. It's a shame, because there's a lot to poke fun at in law school.)
Some majors don't have an animal as the object of the meme. Take for instance Pre Med Gunner or the International Relations Major, which has a mix of everything, including pandas and Thucydides.
