Take a road trip to Bonnaroo, other summer music festivals

With Spring Break behind us, it’s time to start looking forward to summer. Whether you’re staying in town for summer classes, traveling out-of-state for an internship or just heading home for some quality time with the fam, there are plenty of music festivals happening that make for great summer road trip opportunities. Here are some we’re hoping to snag a ticket to!

Hangout Music Fest

Gulf Shores, Ala.

May 18-20

This three-day event has more than 45 bands on the lineup of all different genres. With bands such as Dave Matthews Band, Wilco, Jack White and Skrillex, this beach festival on the beach is sure to be a good time.

Bonnaroo

Manchester, Tenn.

June 7-10

This indie fest is filled with bands such as The Avett Brothers, Young the Giant, Fun. and Feist. Camp out and enjoy some of your favorite bands with hundreds of other festival-goers during this four-day music event. We can bet you’ll end up leaving with more than a few new favorite bands.

April 13-15

April 20-22

This highly popular music festival is known for the swarm of celebrities it attracts each year. The two-weekend music festival is jam-packed with bands such as Bon Iver, Calvin Harris, Radiohead and the Black Keys. If you’re willing to make the trip to Cali, we definitely recommend this festival.
