A flood warning has been issued for parts of Alachua County.
The National Weather Center forecasts the Santa Fe River will flood tomorrow afternoon near Fort
White, located about 41 minutes north of Gainesville.
The river is expected to rise near 25.9 feet by Friday, according to the National Weather Center.
Gainesville residents should also be wary of minor flooding in areas of the city with poor drainage. The
city could see another two to six inches of rain.
Another tornado watch for the county has been issued until 11 p.m.
