The Student Senate will hold an emergency meeting on Thursday to vote for a new Senate President.

Senate President Pro Tempore Logan Harrison announced via email Monday that President Aundre Price had resigned.

In a phone interview, Harrison said he was notified by administration a few days ago about the resignation. He said he does not know why Price resigned.

Harrison will be acting president until a new one can be voted on Thursday at 5 p.m. The location of the meeting is still undecided.

“I want to personally thank Aundre for his dedication and service to our University,” Harrison wrote in an email. “On behalf of myself and everyone in Student Government, I wish Aundre the best in all of his future endeavors.”
