The Regional Transit System released its reduced bus schedule Wednesday morning for UF students and Gainesville residents planning to use public transportation during the holiday break.
The reduced fall schedule will continue through Dec. 30.
Beginning Monday, RTS will provide reduced service on city routes 1, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 20, 23, 34, 35, 36 and 43, according to an RTS news release.
Routes 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 15, 24, 25 and 75 will continue to run on the normal Fall 2012 schedule.
Service will be closed on routes 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 38, 39, 46, 62, 76 and all routes to the UF campus. RTS will also close the Later Gator service.
For residents and students needing to get around Christmas Eve, RTS will run routes 1, 5, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 20, 27, and 35 its normal Sunday schedule.
All bus routes will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
The Spring 2013 schedule will run with reduced service Dec. 31 and begin normal operations Jan. 2.
