Beyoncé announces her world tour

The world came to a hault after the Super Bowl. Beyoncé, better known as Queen Bey, Beysus or by her alter-ego Sasha Fierce, announced her new world tour, The Mrs. Carter Show.

The video, which features Beyoncé dripping in gold and looking like a general boss, made me want to quit school and become an official members of her Beyhive.

Beysus’ tour starts in Serbia on April 15 and ends on Aug. 4 in Brooklyn. Though I am sure that everything in between will be fierce, fabulous and completely bootylicious.

I really am not ready for this jelly, because if I do get the chance to see Beyoncé in concert, I will never quite be the same again. From her showmanship to her insanely “please don’t break something” dance moves Beyoncé knows how to bring the house down. She is a diva to the highest degree.

So here’s the bad news. No Gainesville concert. Beyoncé doesn’t do Gainesville. She’s Beyoncé for Christ’s sake.

Your closest options are Fort Lauderdale on July 9, Miami on July 10 or Atlanta on July 12. But is it worth the trek? Absolutely. Beyoncé is a voice of power that has changed generations, cured life-threatening diseases and ended nuclear warfare. Well, not actually, but if the chance presented itself I think she could.

Even if you aren’t a single lady or don’t like your love on top, Beyoncé has something to offer everyone. She invented the word “bootylicious” and got it in the dictionary. Justin brought sexy back, I’ll give him that, but Beyoncé brought fierce back.

Sometimes she is so fierce that it scares me. Sometimes I dream about how much better my life would be if I were baby Blue Ivy. Sometimes I wonder weird stuff like if Beyoncé would prefer chunky or smooth peanut butter. It’s weird, OK!

But nonetheless, if I haven’t convinced you yet, you must see this show.

Beyoncé runs the world so you better join in on her quest for ferocity and booty shaking goodness.

Tickets for the best concert of your entire life can be purchased on her website.
