At the Future of Florida Springs symposium held at Pugh Hall, activists, authors and assorted experts came together to weigh in on the current state of Florida’s over 1,000 freshwater springs. The conclusion? They are in grave danger.
Students at the Student Government Productions’ Spring show were greeted with a vibrant, cotton candy-colored sunset over Flavet Field before Zara Larsson and Two Friends took the stage Wednesday night.
The 64-year-old actor, director and producer spoke with Ted Spiker, UF College of Journalism chair, and implored students to stick with what inspires them. During the event, hosted by UF Accent Speakers Bureau, he asked that students not only make their dreams happen, but invite them to happen.
ChatGPT was launched in November by OpenAI, an American software company that specializes in artificial intelligence research. ChatGPT incorporates user feedback, improvisational and conversational skills and the internet’s endless supply of information to craft any desired text with any given prompt. In an interview with the New York Times in mid-January, Provost Joe Glover emphasized ChatGPT isn’t yet explicitly worked into UF policy.
