Trinity Christian Academy outside linebacker Jeffrey Holland, a 2015 recruit, narrows down his choices to six schools Thursday morning.

We’re just less than a month away from National Signing Day, and for recruiting that means it’s the busiest time of year. Florida received some big news Thursday from both 2014 and 2015 recruits.

The biggest story of the day came from the No. 4 ranked cornerback in the nation Jalen Tabor. Tabor announced early Thursday morning that he was flipping his commitment from Arizona to Florida. Just a week ago at the 2014 Under Amour All-America Game, Tabor picked Arizona over Alabama.

Tabor is a senior at Friendship Collegiate Academy in Washington, D.C.  He is the No. 1 ranked corner out of D.C. He is talented enough to get a starting role this fall for the Gators, whose corner position took a hit with the announcement of cornerbacks Marcus Roberson and Loucheiz Purifoy declaring for the NFL Draft following the 2013 season.

Isaiah Ford, a 2014 wide receiver recruit from Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, narrowed down his choices to Florida, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Louisville. Ford was originally committed to Louisville, but he reversed his commitment on Sunday.

Florida also picked up a big commitment for its 2015 class. Three-star defensive back Deontai Williams, also from Trinity, announced his commitment to UF on Thursday morning. Williams is the only player on Florida’s 2015 class so far.

Florida missed on Williams’ teammate, defensive tackle Kendrick Norton, as he announced his commitment to Florida State this morning. Norton is the 13th ranked defensive tackle in the Rivals.com position rankings.

Trinity outside linebacker and 2015 recruit Jeffrey Holland announced his short list for schools Thursday morning, which includes Florida, Florida State, Auburn, UCLA, Alabama and Ohio State. Holland is the No. 4 outside linebacker in the 2015 class.

Cornerback Tyrek Cole of Miramar High is expected to announce his commitment tonight. The 2015 recruit confirmed via text that he would be announcing through Twitter at 8 p.m. Cole is choosing between Florida, Miami, and West Virginia. Cole’s head coach at Miramar, Damon Cogdell, accepted a position as an assistant coach on the West Virginia defensive staff Wednesday.
