2015 wide receiver prospect Deondre Farrier confirmed Friday morning via text message that he has committed to the Florida Gators. Farrier attends Lake Nona High in Orlando, which also produced 2014 Florida signee Ryan Sousa.

The 6-3, 195-pounder is a three-star receiver who recorded 55 receptions for 909 yards during his junior season. Farrier was verbally committed to USF in December but was offered by Florida following the Under Armour National All-American Combine in early January.

Florida is rebuilding the receiving corps as it signed three wide receivers along with two tight ends for the 2014 class. Florida lost its leading receiver from 2013, Solomon Patton, to graduation following the season.
