UF students peanut-butter believe it  — the Planters NUTmobile is coming to campus Monday.

The NUTmobile, a 24-foot-long peanut on wheels, will be on campus from Monday to Wednesday to recruit students for the next “peanutters” crew. The team will operate the NUTmobile as it travels across the country during a yearlong journey, hosting promotional events for Planters along the way.

Lauren Enkerud, a UF alumna and Gainesville native, said the three current peanutters will be handing out fliers, popping into classrooms and driving around Gainesville. She said the team is looking for public relations and marketing majors, but any student nutty enough to take the job is welcome.

An informational session will be held at the Career Resource Center classroom from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

“Its just a really fun, nutty job,” she said. “(The NUTmobile) rides as smooth as creamy peanut butter.”

Kyle Knight, a 20-year-old UF civil engineering sophomore, said it sounds interesting, “but I don’t know if I’d actually do it.”
