Troopers arrested a man after he was accused of running multiple red lights and was caught by a K-9 Friday.

Ivan Lloyd Deloe, 33, of Gainesville, sped down Interstate 75 north exit 387 near Newberry Road at about 11 a.m., according to a Florida Highway Patrol arrest report. He then abruptly changed over three lanes.

While turning, he slid through a red light while going onto Newberry Road and then drove through six more red lights toward a SunTrust bank, at 5080 W. Newberry Road, while troopers pursued him, the report said.

Troopers saw him enter the bank parking lot and followed him in, the report said. He then walked across Northwest Eighth Avenue.

An officer ran with his police dog, Rogue, and told him to stop, the report said. Deloe looked at him, threw car keys over his shoulder and ran, the report said. The officer released Rogue and Deloe jumped over a fence. He surrendered before the dog caught him.

A search of his car found drug tools, a pill bottle and about two grams of cannabis, the report said.

Deloe was charged with driving with an expired license, reckless driving, possession of cannabis and drug equipment and fleeing and resisting an officer without violence.

He remained in the Alachua County Jail on Sunday in lieu of a $17,500 bond.
