Freshman Andy Andrade accounted for the only point Florida could muster against No. 5 Texas A&M in Friday night's matchup.

The Gators men’s tennis team traveled to Arkansas on Sunday with one goal in mind: Continue the dominance.

Florida came into the match with a 30-2 record all-time against the Razorbacks and won two of the last three contests.

It left Fayetteville with another win.

The No. 10 Gators dominated No. 42 Arkansas 6-1 on Sunday at the George M. Billingsley Tennis Center. The win was the Gators’ first in SEC play and a rebound from their 1-2 showing at the ITA National Indoor Championships in Chicago two weeks ago. It got off to little bit of a bumpy start in doubles for the Gators

UF won on court 3, but Arkansas countered with a win on court 2. It then came down to court 1 with senior McClain Kessler and sophomore Duarte Vale taking on Oscar Mesquida and Adam Sanjurjo. The Gators took the game 6-4 and won the doubles point.

In singles, sophomore Andy Andrade broke out of his slump and earned a crushing 6-4, 6-0. Lukas Grief then followed with a straight set win, putting the Gators ahead 3-1. Johannes Ingildsen then clinched the match, defeating Alex Reco in straight sets, 6-3. 6-4.

The dominance didn’t stop there, as freshman Sam Riffice and senior Alfredo Perez won tough matches to extend the lead to 6-1.

The Gators will head home for the first time in a month and will stay there for the next two weeks. They play Ole Miss on Friday at the Ring Tennis Complex before hosting a pair of top 10 teams in Mississippi State and Wake Forest on Sunday March 10th and Wednesday March 13th.
