Alachua County Public Schools closed ahead of Tropical Storm Idalia

Classes canceled Tuesday and Wednesday

Alachua County Public Schools will close Tuesday and Wednesday to prepare for Tropical Storm Idalia, according to an ACPS press release.

School reopening dates will be decided after the storm passes.

Public input sessions on rezoning, which were originally scheduled for today and Tuesday, have been postponed. The Tuesday board meeting has also been postponed.
