Monday, Oct. 20
The Ox: Waylon Thornton, Scott Yoder, TVA and Radio USA at 8 p.m.
Seattle-based artist Scott Yoder and Tallahassee’s Radio USA join Gainesville natives Waylon Thornton and TVA for a show at this DIY venue, accompanied by visual art by Hedy.
Tuesday, Oct. 21
The Bull: Wiley Gaby, A. Sunroom, Cathluina and Vee at 6 p.m.
These folk acts come together for a free show.
Wednesday, Oct. 22
The Wooly: The Rocky Horror Picture Show at 8 p.m.
The annual fall run of the show features a live shadowcast from local actors to accompany the cult-classic movie.
How Bazar: RIP Rockfest at 8 p.m.
Bands Freudian Slip, Weatherboys, 18th Lane and Hello Sister come together to support sustainable fashion. Audience members are encouraged to attend in thrifted costumes.
Thursday, Oct. 23
Loosey’s: Official Pre-Fest Showcase at 8 p.m.
This show ushers in the 23rd iteration of Gainesville’s punk festival, The Fest. Headliners include The Casket Lottery and Meat Wave.
Bo Diddley Plaza: Fest 23 Kickoff at 6:30 p.m.
This punk festival kickoff features headliner Motion City Soundtrack.
Heartwood Soundstage: Ty Myers with Palmer Anthony at 7 p.m.
Platinum-certified country artist Ty Myers comes to Gainesville, with the support of Fort Worth’s Palmer Anthony.
Friday, Oct. 24
Various Locations: The Fest
Day one of The Fest, Gainesville’s punk music festival. Punk rockers gather from all over the world to listen to over 350 bands across three days, supported by a network of over 500 local volunteers.

Cypress and Grove Brewery: Punk The Well at 5:30 p.m.
Running adjacent to The Fest, this free event brings together Alex Lopez, Now Leaving Space and Colorblind Dinosaurs.
Saturday, Oct. 25
Civic Media Center: Queer The Fest at 4 p.m.
This punk show is “a benefit reclamation of Fest weekend by the queer community.”
