Seven former Florida standouts are spread across four of the six Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) rosters in 2026, continuing to represent the Gators during the league's second season.
Florida's seven active or rostered alumni rank third nationally, trailing only Oklahoma and UCLA. Former Gator Amanda Lorenz is also a member of the Texas Volts organization but is not playing this summer as she and her husband are expecting their first child.
The Portland Cascade boast the largest contingent of former Gators. The club features the 2025 outfield tandem of Kendra Falby and Korbe Otis, while shortstop Kenleigh Cahalan joined the roster after being selected with the No. 17 overall pick in this year's AUSL Draft.
Otis has been Portland's top offensive performer among the former Gators, batting .295, which ranks third on the team. Falby has also been a consistent contributor, hitting .250 while continuing to showcase the speed and defense that made her one of the nation's premier center fielders during her time at Florida. Cahalan has endured the typical learning curve that comes with a rookie campaign, but she has remained Portland's everyday shortstop and continues to gain valuable experience at the professional level.
The Chicago Bandits feature two former Florida stars in Skylar Wallace and Jocelyn Erickson. Wallace has emerged as one of the league's most dangerous hitters in her second AUSL season, collecting 24 hits and six home runs while posting a remarkable .522 batting average. Erickson has found her rhythm at the plate in recent games, recording five hits, including a home run, over her last six contests as she continues to adjust to the professional game.
The Carolina Blaze are anchored by former Florida ace Aleshia Ocasio, a three-time All-SEC First Team selection and member of the Gators' 2015 Women's College World Series championship team. Ocasio owns a 2-1 record in the circle with 10 strikeouts while issuing just three walks, continuing to demonstrate the command and poise that defined her collegiate career.
Texas is represented by Kelsey Stewart-Hunter, who is the lone active former Gator on the Volts while Lorenz is away from the team. Stewart Hunter has appeared in 12 games this season, contributing valuable depth and recording a double in limited opportunities.
With the regular season entering its final stretch, former Gators continue to make an impact throughout the league. Chicago currently sits atop the AUSL standings by one game, with the regular season scheduled to conclude Monday.
