








The Florida Gators and East Carolina Pirates previewed the upcoming Birmingham Bowl at Friday's press conference. Florida (6-5) was represented by interim head coach D.J. Durkin, center Max Garcia and linebacker Mike Taylor. East Carolina (8-4) was represented by head coach Ruffin McNeill, quarterback Shane Carden, wide receiver Justin Hardy, defensive lineman Chrishon Rose and linebacker Brandon Williams.

UF’s Lettuce Club holds its first eating competition
Mar. 10A crowd of around 40 people gathered by a bench to watch 20 members of UF’s Lettuce Club compete in a lettuce eating competition Feb. 19. Many watched with their own pieces of lettuce in hand, and some even gripped personal bottles of dressing to complement the leafy greens.
