first day w/ fuchs

Kayla Tellez, a 20-year-old junior studying psychology, takes a selfie with UF President Kent Fuchs Tuesday on Plaza of the Americas. Fuchs traveled around campus taking photos and giving out free shaved ice for students for the first day of Fall classes. “It was amazing. I felt like I met a celebrity,” Tellez said. “It’s my first year on campus and I’m super excited and it’s just like the cherry on top.”
