Taylor Unroe

In her final season, Unroe was removed from the libero position and placed as a defensive specialist to give Florida more versatility.

The result: The second player in the history of Florida volleyball to record 1,500 digs during her career.

One year after being named the SEC Libero of the Year, Unroe is second on the Gators’ roster in digs per set (2.02) while playing in all 99 sets.

Wise said she was confident in the former libero’s ability to communicate and help run the defense behind teammate and now-starting libero Holly Pole.
