Feb. 23 is Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day! Show your pooch some proper pampering with this homemade dog treat recipe. The dough is super easy to work with and holds form when cut with any shape of cookie cutter, so get creative! With only six simple ingredients, these biscuits will have your pup bow-wowing over how tasty they are.

Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits
From: Sweet Pea's Kitchen
Ingredients:
3/4 cup nonfat milk
1 egg
1 cup peanut butter, smooth
2 1/4 to 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
-Preheat oven to 325° F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper
-In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, egg and peanut butter until smooth. Add the flour, baking powder and cinnamon and mix until completely combined.
-With a rolling pin, roll the dough out to 1/4-inch thickness between two sheets of parchment paper. Cut into desired sizes depending on the size of your dog and place on prepared baking sheet.
-Bake 15 minutes then remove from oven and flip all the biscuits over and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until biscuits are hard and golden brown on both sides.
-Remove from oven and cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
