Harvin expected to practice today, play against FSU

UF wide receiver Percy Harvin felt good enough to work out Sunday and should practice today as he recovers from a sinus infection and migraine headaches that kept him out of the last two games.

BHe said he feels a lot better,C UF coach Urban Meyer said. BSo I?m hoping he?s ready to go.C

Since the illness flared up two weeks ago, Harvin has undergone CAT scans and an MRI and received three or four different medicines to counteract the migraines.

He was too sick to travel with the team to South Carolina for a Nov. 10 game, but he did watch Saturday?s win against Florida Atlantic from the sideline.

If Harvin returns for this week?s game against Florida State - and it appears likely he will - Tim Tebow could have his full arsenal of receiving weapons for the first time in weeks.

Andre Caldwell (sprained medial collateral ligament), Riley Cooper (broken finger) and Cornelius Ingram (sprained ankle) have spent time on the injured list, though Cooper is still recovering.

BI?m hoping Percy gives us a full complement,C Meyer said. BI think we?re going to need it. We?re a pretty special group if we?re all healthy and we?re all on it.C

INJURY REPORT: Freshman cornerback Joe Haden is questionable for the Florida State game after spraining an ankle in the Florida Atlantic win.

The Gators are already stretched thin at corner.

Sophomore Markihe Anderson is still hampered by a knee injury, and Markus Manson has returned to running back.

That leaves redshirt freshman Jacques Rickerson - who got burned against Kentucky - and true freshman Moses Jenkins as possibilities to line up opposite Wondy Pierre-Louis if Haden sits out.

Jenkins has played in the last four games, mostly on special teams, with his only substantial time at cornerback coming against LSU.

Florida State has a corps of very talented wide receivers, including Greg Carr, De?Cody Fagg and Preston Parker, and pitting Jenkins against them concerns Meyer.

BHe?s obviously very young and has very little experience,C Meyer said. BI don?t know about [playing him] against our rival.C

Another position riddled with injuries, defensive tackle, suffered a couple more setbacks.

Mike Pouncey did not play in the second half against Florida Atlantic after hyperextending his knee just before halftime.

He is probable to start and is expected to play against the Seminoles.

Lawrence Marsh?s status is up in the air as he nurses a foot injury.

JAMES SITS OUT: Sophomore running back Brandon James was suspended for Saturday?s game for an unspecified reason.

BThere are certain things we expect of you on the field and off the field, and he didn?t fulfill his obligation this week, so he didn?t play,C said Meyer, who added that James should be back to play against the Seminoles.

This isn?t James? first run-in with trouble.

He was also suspended for the season opener against Western Kentucky for an undisclosed reason.

James was arrested in June after buying .8 grams of marijuana. A felony charge against him was dropped, and he pled no contest to a misdemeanor.
