Woman accused of attacking people with box cutter

A Shands at AGH clerk was arrested Monday after she was accused of slicing two people with a box cutter and trafficking prescription drugs.

While on the porch of 618 S.W. Second Terrace, Nakishia Sullivan, 24, was approached by two women, one of whom she had an ongoing dispute with.

When the argument turned into a physical fight, Sullivan pulled a box cutter out of her purse and swung it at the women, according to the Gainesville Police Department arrest report.

Sullivan cut one of the women on her thigh and close to her vagina. Sullivan also sliced herself in the shin, according to the report.

When a man attempted to break up the fight, Sullivan sliced his arm, the report stated.

Before she was taken to the police station, Sullivan gave officers a small bag of marijuana from her purse and the box cutter that was used in the fight, the report stated.

When officials searched her purse they found 15 Oxycodone pills, one Hydrocodone pill of and one ecstasy pill.

Sullivan was charged with five felonies including aggravated assault and trafficking Oxycodone and one misdemeanor of possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.
