Is it just us or is it the time of the year when everything just seems to become a race to the finish? It’s the time of the year when professors forget we have more than one class, and it feels like we’re taking 27 credits instead of a measly 12. It’s the time of the year when we can almost feel the winter holidays, and we start thinking about making those ring chains where we tear a ring off every day as we get closer to the finish (winter break).

Fundraiser helps UNICEF

Students who want to help provide relief for the victims of the recent devastating floods in Pakistan can do so by enjoying a day at Bob’s River Place on the Suwannee River this Sunday.

UF mascot statue vandalized

The statue of UF mascots Albert and Alberta stands outside the Emerson Alumni Hall, marred by graffiti that was scrawled by an apparent rival fan Thursday. The vandal or vandals drew a rendition of the University of Miami “U” logo across both mascots and the word “Hurricanes” down Alberta’s left arm.
