Recruits shine at Friday Night Lights

Under a clear summer night sky in front of UF coaches and with several current Florida players watching on from the stands, some of the state’s top talent took the field for Friday Night Lights in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Friday.

Droning Didgeridoo

Peter Levitov plays a didgeridoo, an Aboriginal Australian wind instrument, against the body of Dan Kahn as Kahn relaxes on the Downtown Community Plaza in Gainesville Wednesday afternoon. Levitov said he uses the didgeridoo to bring awareness and balance to the body. He will be playing the didgeridoo at an “Explorations Through Sound” event at the Sacred Earth Center in Gainesville Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m.Harrison Diamond, Alligator Staff
