Middle blocker Taelor Kellum led the Gators in blocks (5) in their four-set triumph over Army Saturday night. Kellum also registered nine kills, good for third on the team.

Army gained some momentum in the fourth set after it scored back-to-back kills to draw within two.

Junior wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland made an impact play on special teams in the Gators' 48-10 win over Colorado State. In the second quarter, he recovered a blocked punt for a touchdown just before the ball went out of the back of the end zone for a touchback.

Cornerback Trey Dean III (21) will get his first start of the season in place of sophomore Marco Wilson. Wilson was lost for the season after he tore his ACL during Florida's first defensive series last week against Kentucky.

Florida volleyball takes rivalry win in Tallahassee

The quaint Tully Gymnasium in Tallahassee was packed Wednesday night as announcers yelled over the intercom for people to clear the aisleways and fans stood about seven rows deep in the corners just to get a glimpse of the famous in-state rivalry.

UF tennis coach Roland Thornqvist added five-star recruit Marlee Zein, Georgia Tech transfer Ida Jarlskog and Houston transfer Tsveta Dimitrova to the team this fall.

Junior Sierra Brooks (17-under) took home the individual title during a shortened opening weekend at the Cougar Classic in Hanahan, South Carolina. Florida won the tournament by three strokes.
