Loving the feeling or feeling the love?

Happy Valentine’s Day to all you lovers of life, people and all things nice. Valentine’s Day is historically a day for celebrating your relationship with your significant other and for making each other feel special and appreciated. Thankfully, over the past decade, the rise of celebrating love among people in general has increased in the world. Now more than ever, women are celebrating Galentine’s Day, which is a day for ladies to celebrate ladies. Now that the holiday is here, if you find yourself in need of a girl power pick-me-up or some mood music for that special someone, we’ve got a playlist for you.

The Avenue team is obsessed with all things culture and entertainment. We want our audience to get to know us and we think one way is to share something extremely important to each of us—our music. So from now on, you'll get a playlist every week of the songs we can't get out of our heads. We hope you'll jam out to these tunes as much as we do.

Avenue Weekly Playlist

In 2019, it can be pretty difficult to know what music you’re missing or what artists to check out. Fear not, because the Avenue is here to give you a look into what music our staff is currently listening to on repeat.

The best of FEST: playlist

FEST is taking over Gainesville this weekend for the 17th time. With punk-rock fanatics from across the globe roaming the streets, it seems like a good time to curate some of our favorite tunes to blare when we want to headbang out our emotions. The best part? You can see every band featured on the playlist this weekend.
