UF men's tennis senior Greg Ouellette advanced to the semifinals before falling Saturday at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla.

No. 10 Ouellette defeated Oklahoma State's 11th-ranked Oleksandr Nedovyesoy 7-6 (0), 7-5 in the quarterfinals to set up his semifinal match.

But he then fell to Southern California's Robert Farah, tied for No. 125 nationally, in a close three-set match, 7-5, 6-7 (5), 6-2.

Ouellette was the only player from UF in the main singles draw.

On the women's side, Csilla Borsanyi, Megan Alexander and Diana Srebrovic all fell Friday in round 16 of the main singles draw at the All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif., ending the Gators' run in the tournament.

Borsanyi fell to Georgia Tech's Amanda McDowell, 6-3, 6-3, while Srebrovic fought hard against Baylor's sixth-ranked Zuzana Zemenova, losing 7-5, 2-6, 6-1.

Alexander came up short against 2006 NCAA singles champion and fourth-ranked Suzi Babos of California, 6-1, 6-2.

The men's tennis team will next compete in the ITA Regional Indoor Qualifying in Memphis, Tenn., beginning Oct. 19, while the women's team will begin play in the ITA South Regionals in Athens, Ga., on Oct. 20.
