This Friday, the other Meyer will control The Swamp - and no, it's not Andrew, "Don't tase me, bro" Meyer.
Gators coach Urban Meyer's wife, Shelley, will be hosting Gator Growl, UF's student pep rally.
At his weekly Monday press conference, the coach sounded off his opinion about the event.
When asked if he had final script approval, Meyer kidded, "I'm glad you told me that because I forgot about it."
Meyer joked that he was not looking forward to his wife's performance, but understood why she agreed to the gig.
"She loves the University of Florida," Meyer said with a smile. "She loves the students. When I heard that (she was hosting) I said, 'What are you doing?' She said, 'The students asked me. What am I supposed to say, no?' And I said, 'Yeah, say no.'"
Quarterback Tim Tebow said those in attendance will be in for quite a show from Meyer's better half.
"She'll have a lot of enthusiasm," quarterback Tim Tebow said. "I can guarantee you that. I think Coach Meyer definitely married up."
