UF students and faculty looking for a bargain this holiday season need look no further than their mailbox.

After Student Government talked to UF and Office Depot, Student Body President Ryan Moseley said contract agreements that give UF a 15 to 20 percent discount on office supplies from Office Depot has been extended to students and faculty.

To get the discount, students can sign up online to receive the discount card in the mail within a few days, Moseley said. The discount applies to everything, including laptops.

On Nov. 29 and Nov. 30, students and faculty members can also save money on books from the UF Bookstore, excluding textbooks.

He said students and faculty would be eligible for a 15 to 20 percent discount on books. Moseley said he was especially happy to extend the discount to UF's faculty.

"It's a good way to show the faculty that we appreciate everything they do for us," Moseley said.

Moseley said he didn't know why textbooks weren't included in the discounts.
