(Scott Robertson / Alligator Staff) Duke Reid of the UF Physical Plant Division prepares Christmas lights before stringing them Wednesday on the fir tree growing on the North Lawn. The tree has been traditionally decorated with 40 strands of Christmas lights. Reid has decorated the tree for 19 years.
