Come next fall, Urban Meyer just might have the fastest team in America
UF signee Jeffery Demps ran a 10.17 second 100-meter dash Friday at the Florida Relays.
Demps' mark was the fastest high school time in the country and the third-fastest time in the world this year.
Demps was only .02 seconds off the all-time high school record set by Henry Neal in 1990.
Demps, who signed to play football for UF in January, will likely play tailback and wide receiver for the Gators.
He carried 327 times for 3,162 yards in his junior and senior year at South High School
