Don't mess with the Sandman. Adam Sandler has done it again with his combination of ridiculous characters, raunchy humor and crazy fight sequences that help make his new flick, "Don't Mess With the Zohan," gut-bustingly funny.

Zohan, played by Sandler, is the pride of the Israeli military's anti-terrorism task force. His great speed and resistance to pain make him a Middle Eastern Superman.

After growing tired of his dangerous life, Zohan decides to pursue his true passion: hair styling.

He fakes his death and goes to America to lather, rinse, cut and style the Paul Mitchell way â€" with the Zohan "specialty" as an added bonus â€" at a hair salon. Inevitably, a forbidden love ensues between Zohan and the salon's owner, Dalia, played by Emmanuelle Chriqui.

Aside from his bizarre accent and mannerisms, his style â€" complete with cut-off jean shorts and Mariah Carey T-shirts â€" will make you smile every time he is on the screen.

This film surprisingly delivered great humor. Dirty jokes will have you doubled over in your chair. The movie tastefully pokes fun at a Middle Eastern stereotype with hummus as the universal substitute for anything from toothpaste to water.

Silly humor combined with Sandler's constant disco breaks and dancing only adds to the film's absurdity.

Sandler fans will be happy to see many familiar faces from his other movies. Rob Schneider plays Salim, the leader of a wannabe terrorist gang who uses Neosporin to make a bomb, and John Turturro stars as the Phantom, Zohan's archenemy from the Middle East. Chris Rock, Kevin James and Mariah Carey also make cameos.

This film was worth the time and money. So if you need a good laugh or something to fill an otherwise boring summer night, go see Sandler style and shake.
