Team goofball and media favorite Duke Lemmens spoke today and he joked he was going to prep for Hurricane Fay by getting an umbrella as his protection. The Cali native hasn't ever been through a hurricane and has only dealt with earthquakes and fires.

"I got to start talking to my Florida boys and see what they say," Lemmens said. "I got to stay off the scooter maybe a little bit."

Duke, we enjoy you. Thank you.

On more serious notes:

Lemmens said the defense looks completely different from last and the team is actually hanging out more this year…Coach Urban Meyer said freshman DT Omar Hunter practiced Monday and looked good. Lemmens said Hunter "got up on the Pouncey (Maurkice and Mike) twins a bit. That shows his strength. Everyone here knows what the Pounceys can do. He has all the potential in the world."…Lemmens said freshman DE William Green could go run a marathon with how hard he plays…Meyer admitted with guys like Percy Harvin Jim Tarrt and Phil Trautwein banged up, they could barely practice before seeing action in games….Dustin Doe said the defense has called themselves "the wolfpack" this year because wolves hunt together and attack from all sides. We'll have to wait and see if they live up to that.
