UF has already lost tight end Cornelius Ingram for the season and receiver Percy Harvin still hasn't fully practiced, and now No. 2 receiver Louis Murphy is out with a sprained ankle. Coach Urban Meyer said he doesn't "think it's that serious" and Murphy should be back later this week. However, still not a good sign. For those keeping track at home, that probably leaves Deonte Thompson has the Gators top receiver right now.

Also of note from this morning's practice:

Meyer feels Kestahn Moore can be a standout at fullback…Caleb Sturgis and Jonathan Phillips are having a tight battle for the starting kicking spot… Matt Patchan is getting close to returning from a torn pectoral muscle…defensive tackle Torrey Davis will not play the first game, Meyer said he still has "got to take care of business…multitude of things."…Bryan Thomas will not play in the first game as he is still recovering from having a cyst removed from his knee.
