Pizza deliveryman robbed at gunpoint

Two men were arrested by Gainesville Police minutes after a pizza deliveryman was robbed at gunpoint Monday.

Nauman Adil Khan was delivering pizza on Northwest 21st Avenue at 4:20 a.m. when a man, who was carrying a gun and wearing a blue bandana over his face, pushed him to the ground, GPD reports stated.

The man removed Khan's wallet, cell phone and about $300 as he continued pointing the gun at Khan.

He told Khan that he had 30 seconds to run, the reports stated.

As Khan left, he spotted a white vehicle circle the parking lot.

Police pulled over a white vehicle and arrested passenger Jose David Tirado, 22, and driver Andy Mark Reginal Manuel Ward, 23, minutes after the robbery.

The two men were arrested at 1015 NW 21st Ave.

Under Tirado's seat, police found a loaded gun, $215 and an ATM card in Khan's name, reports stated.

Both men were charged with armed robbery, and Tirado was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Khan identified both Tirado and Ward, but both men denied involvement in the robbery.

Tirado told police in a taped conversation that he would post bond and flee the area, the report stated.
